Houston Community of the Month
The Plantation at Woodforest offers a beautiful community with a picturesque pond, mature trees, and eye-catching landscaping. Conveniently located in a growing part of northeast Houston, Plantation residents are close to many shopping and entertainment options. The community is overseen by a dedicated five-person Board of Directors who take a very active role in keeping the community standards high for the benefit of their residents. Two of the Board members recently celebrated 20 years on the Board while a third member just celebrated 19 years on the Board. This year also marks the 20-year anniversary with C.I.A. Services as their management company!
The diverse group of Board members works well together using their expertise and knowledge to make the community a leader in the area. By partnering with the local Municipal Utility District and other area entities, they strive to make the community safe and address resident concerns in the growing area. With new business and residential developments coming, they are dedicated to being an integral part of the area. With an emphasis on managing their finances, practical deed restriction enforcement, and architectural guidelines, the Board continues to successfully oversee all aspects of the community.
Residents look forward to the annual Fall Festival which includes inflatables, food, games, and more. Children and adults alike always have smiles on their faces as they enjoy the festivities. With hard work and wonderful volunteers, the Plantation at Woodforest plans to keep this tradition going. While COVID-19 meant no Fall Festival in 2020, the community showed their spirit with festive holiday decorations.
C.I.A. Services is proud to partner with the Plantation at Woodforest Community Association and congratulates them on being our community of the month in the Houston area.
San Antonio Community of the Month
Bridlegate Ranch is a scenic community located in the Hill Country area of Bandera, Texas. All of the lots in this community are two or more acres with a portion along the beautiful Medina River. There are many wonderful features in this community that are available to property owners, including a 25-acre River Park, horse stables, and two pools, among others. There is also the availability for guest suite rentals at the Ranch House and the Bridlegate Community Center when residents have overnight guests. The community has two designated trails for horseback riding, hiking, and biking. The first trail runs approximately 2.5 miles from the Horse Arena to the end of Palomino Springs and the second is a more rugged trail offering an alternative to the winding paved road into the River Park.
This very active community has abundant volunteers with a “get it done” attitude. The Road Preservation committee oversees the maintenance and upkeep of 17 miles of road. Volunteers for the host family program make sure the rental suites are well maintained and if the guests have any questions or problems, the host family steps in to assist. The original Plantation home on the Ranch has been reimagined as a Community Center that can be used as a venue for large events. The utility committee oversees the installation of miles of fiber so that every home has sufficient internet access. Although many of the committees and social groups have been on pause during the pandemic, they are looking forward to picking up where they left off. It’s easy to recognize that the residents here support each other and pitch in to make the community better.
C.I.A. Services is proud to partner with Bridlegate Ranch and congratulates them on being our community of the month in the San Antonio area.
