Builder Compliance Inspection

Form Description:
Compliance inspections are required on new all newly constructed homes. All non-compliance issued must be resolved prior to closing, with reinspections needed until compliance is obtained. Please submit the property information.

Property Access: Compliance inspections require rear yard access. Please ensure the property is accessible so the inspector can complete the inspection. A failure to access the property will result in a failed inspection, which will require a reinspection.

If a property has already sold and transferred to a new owner at the time of the inspection, the homeowner must grant authorization for the inspector to perform the inspection. The builder will need to provide a signed authorization form from the owner. Please contact compliance@ciaservices.com for a copy of the form. Once completed, you can include the signed form with your request (by uploading under the "Upload Attachment’ option) or e-mail to compliance@ciaservices.com.

Compliance Inspection Fees: The initial inspection fee is $100.00 and billed to Airia Development Company.

Reinspections: If a property does not pass the initial inspection, a reinspection must be requested once any issues have been resolved. When resubmitting your request, please be sure to select ’yes’ for reinspection.

Reinspection Fees: Each reinspection is an additional $25.00 (i.e.; the first reinspection is $125.00, the second reinspection is $150.00, the third reinspection is $175.00, etc.). Fees are due in advance from the requestor. The reinspection will be scheduled after receipt of payment.

Time Frames: Inspections are typically performed twice a week. Results are delivered within ten (10) business days. Expedited inspections will be delivered within three (3) business day and are available for an additional $200.00 paid in advance.

Delivery Method: Completed inspection reports are delivered to the e-mail address provided by the requester. If an alternative method is preferred (mail or pick-up), please contact us at compliance@ciaservices.com.
