As with many communities, Inwood Northwest is aging and experiencing the effects of Father Time.  Fortunately for Inwood Northwest, they have a Board that works diligently to keep their community looking young.  The Board of Directors has worked very hard to maintain the appearance of the neighborhood.  Part one of that work was working very hard to improve collection of assessments and enforcement of the deed restrictions.  With the successful implementation of a strong enforcement policy, the Association has been able to perform many improvements within the community.

One area of improvement was the community tennis courts.  The courts were resurfaced, parking lot restriped, and irrigation was installed around the courts allowing for improvement landscaping.  The tennis courts are very popular among the residents with players always on the courts.  Not only did these improvements make for happy residents, they are all very noticeable when you drive by.

The community entrances are another area of focus for improvements.  The outdated wooden monument was replaced with a modern monument with a concrete inlay.  A second monument has been freshened up and had nice landscaping installed around it.  More entrance improvements are forthcoming!

The work did not stop there.  Listed below are a few more improvements and upgrades in Inwood Northwest.

• The community pavilion has received a new coat of paint, inside and out.
• New fixtures in the restrooms.
• New refrigerator and new sink in the kitchen.        

Congratulations to the board members of the Inwood Northwest Neighborhood Association for all of your hard work and dedication to make the community wonderful!  A special thanks to Victor Trevino.  Victor, who passed away in 2015, was  a great help to the community.  His widow has been a member of the Board of Directors for several years.  Victor was always on hand when the community needed his help and he is missed greatly.
