LANDSCAPE COORDINATOR

Landscape Coordinator must
exhibit the following skills:

and in person
- Ability to prioritize work load
- Commercial landscape experience
- Must have reliable transportation
The Landscape Coordinator works
closely with the Community Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator and the
Landscape Contractor to ensure the community landscaping always looks its’
best, all of the irrigation systems are working properly, and all components of
the community contract are being completed. The following job description is an
overview of the position’s responsibilities, however in order to maintain a
“team concept” everyone may be called upon to assist in other areas in order to
provide our clients with the best possible service.
- Ensure that community landscaping is well maintained.
- Perform routine inspections of all Association landscaping
and report findings to the Community Manager via required reports
- Perform random inspections with the landscape
contractor to observe the irrigation systems and plant installations.
Report all findings to the community manager
- Prepare bid specifications, RFP and WO for
Association landscape contracts and solicit bids for evaluation and
selection by Association.
- Communicate landscape needs of Association to
vendors.
- Implement the landscape decisions of the Board of
Directors.
- Follow up to ensure that work has been completed as
approved, with the specified materials, within the timeframe indicated,
and within the amount allocated.
- Ensure that contractual obligations are being met by the
landscape contractors.
- Ensure access to facility for the vendor via keys or
meeting the vendor at designated time and location.
- Attend Association meetings as necessary.
