Boy Scouts Launch Flag Drive

Boy Scout Troop 870 is launching a flag drive to help underwrite the cost of their annual summer camps. In their unique subscription program, Pine Brook homeowners can donate $40 to the troop and have American flags installed on four holidays: Memorial Day (May 31), Independence Day (Jul 4), Patriots Day (Sep 11) and Veterans Day (Nov 11).

An all weather flag will be placed on a 10 foot pole near your curb the day before each holiday and removed the day after. If anything happens to the flag, the troop will replace it. You will be able to renew the subscription each year.

Scouts will be at the pool on May 1st during pool tag registration in case you would like to subscribe. The subscription form can be found on this website under the Community Documents tab. You can get more information at email flags@troop870wubc.com or visit the Troop's website at www.Troop870wUBC.com.
