    We are pleased to present a series of seminars for our community leaders throughout the year. This document describes the seminars and lists the schedule from August 2009 through July 2010.
  • CWSA Agreement
    This is the agreement that will need to be completed and signed as part of the Community Web Site Administrator (CWSA) training program.
  • Board Orientation
    This seminar was presented at the 2008 CCUCA Trade Show & Seminars by Libby Hodges and Laura Tate. It is a great introduction for new board members.
  • Advanced Topics for Board Members
    This seminar was presented at the 2008 CCUCA Trade Show & Seminars by Kim Easterling and Renea Miksch. It covers a number of more complicated topics facing community associations.
  • Practical Deed Restriction Management
    This seminar was presented at the 2008 CCUCA Trade Show & Seminars by Ralph Troiano and attorney Bob Alexander from Hoover Slovacek. It covers the basis of authority for deed restiction management, practical alternatives, legal issues and how to handle several tough problems.
  • Paying for Today, Preparing for Tomorrow
    This is very nice PowerPoint presentation made by Ralph Troiano at the 2007 CCUCA Seminars and Trade Show. The seminar reviews the basics of fund accounting for community associations and how to calculate reserve fund requirements.
  • Creating a Super Budget
    This article by C.I.A. Services President, Ralph Troiano, describes the budgeting process and provides an easy-to-understand description of reserve funds and how to calculate the proper fund levels. This is a great article for Board members to read.

  • Are You Ready?
    This is a comprehensive FEMA guide for preparations and recovery from natural disasters. It covers the full spectrum from things we experience in south Texas (hurricanes, tornadoes and floods) to to things we don't (wildfires, earthquakes and tsunamis). It is a big download at 21 MB.
